Notes on the filebase and downloads!

Terms of Use

Before you can download something, you must accept and read the terms of use for the filebase. The terms of use were introduced because some users think they have to complain because a download is not fast enough or sometimes breaks off. But they forget that we make our mods available to everyone free of charge and no one is forced to download anything.

Filebase structure

The filebase is divided into standard downloads that everyone has access to and a special area for Supporters , the supporter area is only visible if you have a supporter membership. As a thank you, supporters enjoy a few advantages for the downloads.

Provision and accessibility of our mods

Since LSFM consists of several independent modders, each modder decides for himself where he would like to upload his files.
For the uploads of the mods, external hosts are mainly used in order to reduce traffic but also to keep the website stable. This means that most of our mods are outsourced to other hosts. Smaller mods with a few megabytes can also be hosted directly here on the server.

It is important to note that if files are located directly on the LSFM web server, the files are throttled for "non-supporters". This is not to annoy the user, but simply to ensure the stability of the website.
